Day 7, I received this verse from my friend this morning for encouragement. What a blessing this was and much needed. Yesterday I spent the day working on some heart issues and felt vulnerable. Although I knew the work God had done in me was for my good, my mind would tell me different. I felt broken, defeated and unsure of why we had to go there. When I received this text it was a reminder that God loved me too much to leave my heart in the condition it was in. He had to break apart my heart so He could bring healing. God rescued my heart from the burdens I was carrying because he delighted in me. This was much more refreshing then the lies the enemy was trying to get me to believe. I held onto this scripture throughout the day as well onto Gods truth. This made me thankful for the heart cleaning I experienced and I am now eager for the healing to take place. My prayer is that as God and I purify my body through the Daniel Fast he will continue to purify my heart. I want to be set free from the burdens of life and live in the freedom Jesus died to give me. Thank you, Lord, for loving me enough to not leave me in the condition I was in.
